In short, the answer is NO. In this day and age several states have legalized the use of medical marijuana, such as California and Colorado. Even Colorado has gone on to legalize the use of marijuana for any purpose. Marijuana.jpgI seriously doubt as conservative as Texas is will legalize the use of marijuana for any purpose anytime in the near future. Currently, even with a prescription, possession of marijuana is illegal in Texas. That means if you are caught with any usable amount of marijuana, you will be arrested and will face criminal penalties.

Possession cases are serious and can be very complex. If you are facing criminal charges, you should not go to court without first consulting with an experienced criminal attorney.
